The snow crunched beneath the skis of Franz and his sports buddy Florian as they headed up from the Sunnegg car park to the Ragazer Blanken in Damüls in the Bregenzerwald. They had joined the “Bregenz Alpenverein” who organizes ski tours for local enthusiasts lead by experienced guides. The day was crisp and the snow was frozen hard as they began the 2.7 km ascent of the mountain. As they climbed higher they reached the 2051m peak and the vistas below were glazed with haze that made for some dramatic views of the valley below. Each peak just gets better and better!
