Brrr… A chilly 10° C cross country ski afternoon in the Bregenzerwald at Sibratsgfäll. The trails were icy and fast today. This past winter many of the slopes and trails for skiing in Vorarlberg were open only to residents due to COVID-19. Some of the restaurants were open for take-out and drinks with social distancing rules in place. We enjoyed a winter Austrian drink of Glühwein which is a spiced mulled wine using red wine, orange slices, white sugar, cinnamon stick, and whole cloves and served steaming hot. A wonderful drink to end a brisk ski afternoon!
